Riki Rachtman's World Famous Cathouse       the rock bar-Ok heres the latest. My goal is to open a bar in Hollywood. Not a club I dont want to be a promoter I want to own a bar. 7 nights a week no cover. Killer music. Strong drinks, Rhythmn, Booze , Little bit o Sleaze and Debauchery. Picture Cheers but instead of Norm and  Woodie and Cliff you have  Slash, Joey Ramone,and Lemmy. The bar you go to before, after or just go to.....That dream appears to becoming  reality AS OF AUG.24th

Ive got a location in Hollywood.......Found the right people...Got all the legal work done.........Secured a few investors......Is it going to happen? Looks good so far

Radio Cathouse-The offer has been placed on the table by _ _ _ _ lets just say everyone in America could hear it and its not going to be on the internet. Sounds great but I have a few  terms regarding creativity and programming. This time I'm doing it  for the "fun aspect" I just want a show to play some killer music. THE MOVIE ( untitled so far )  I  go into more detail in the Diary-uh . Here is the basics. A company (I'm not allowed to say the name yet) . Were in th early stages of creating a movie based in the late 80'90's rock scene. They brought me in for a little consulting on that era.The meeting lasted a few hours and focused on The Cathouse and how it was the epicenter of the "Hollywood Rock Explosion "of the time.A 2nd meeting was scheduled but this time my life was the subject

1. Not my idea

The idea was pitched to me to make a movie about my life and the Cathouse..

2. I said no. I really wasn't interested

After many meetings with business heads and a hook up with a couple of really cool writers. I agreed and am actually the Executive Producer. Yes I was reluctant because I didnt see the point but now not only am I flattered and a little nervous I am excited for this to get under way. I think its going to be pretty cool and am very happy to be working with the people Im working with on this project .Word is I should see the first draft by end of August. They have a quite a bit of info not all flattering.
