Thursday Sept 1- If you
had visited this website in the past few days you noticed it was
closed with a simple link to the Red Cross instead of
cathousehollywood.com. I like the world have felt every emotion
regarding the devastation in the south. I loved New Orleans. I
filmed some of my favorite shows there. Remember the show when Ozzy
brought me on stage and douced me with water? That was N'awlins. I
have always thought that town had a vibe a unique feeling no other
town offered. It also felt like danger to me. Maybe some of that was
due to its history with Pirates. To think now New Orleans is..gone?
What about Biloxi ? I dont think we can comprehend the tragedy.
Where are these people going to work if every bit of commerce is
gone. Where will they go ? How will they survive? Why the hell arent
the Black hawk heliocopters delivering more food and water.I was
angered feeling America has always been there to help victims of
Tsunamis or other tragedies in other countries. Why are we not
taking care of ourselves. Perhaps these are ungrounded
thoughts.Hey it whats on my mind today. I have to get away
from the tv but it sucks me in and makes me feel so damn
helpless
AUG.26th Im one of those
guys that when I get something, rather than find the right way to do
it and read instructions. I just yank it out of the box and go.
Usually it means a 15 minute chore will take hours. I sent out one
of my RRReport e mails yesterday. For some reason I can only send 40
e mails at a time. So I sent out 40 at a time...to almost 4000
people. Today I should be picking up the new Riki's Private Reserve
labels for the new Cathouse shirts. If all is right the new Cathouse
shirt will be shipped out Tuesday or Wed. Ia am meticulous toa
fault. There was a slight mistake on the label. Something you
wouldnt have even noticed and I made the company do them all
over.......Im thinking about taking golf
lessons
AUG.25th So the
latest is I will be getting the first draft of the script the end of
this week.. Kinda scary. I am going to be sitting down and read an
interpertation of my life and the Cathouse. So
surreal.....
AUG.24th Ok ya ya I dont want to hear it I have not been doing so
good keeping you updated. The good news is most of you never even
noticed. I'll try to recap what I can remember in this entry
Remember I'm doing this site myself ( If you didnt notice ) I guess
the new thing is Blog. I thought thats what happens to your veins
when you eat to much fried chicken. Correct me if I'm wrong but
isn't when you enter in a daily log on what ever is on your
mind. How is it different than my Diary-uh ? Onward- I'll try to
wrap this month up in a few paragraphs. AUG.7th- I had another Chevy gig
this time at the Brickyard 400 at Indianapollis Motor
Speedway . First of all I
love everything about that track. Good people good staff. If you
didnt know I work 6 events a year for Chevrolet. I host events in
there fanfest which includes getting up on stage, talking to fans and
interviewing drivers. One of the best parts of this killer gig is
that when the race begins there is nothing for me to do but kick
back in the suite and watch the race. So hometown fave Tony Stewart
won the race. Non race fans you got to understand this guy grew up
in Indy he had raced the Indy 500 and the Brickyard. Even though he
has won a NASCAR championship all he said he wanted before he died
was to win a race at Indy. Well he did. I was stoked to be there.
Somehow me and Mrs. R were on the track when he kissed the yard of
bricks and even took a picture in the winners circle with Tony and
the Chevy folks. Ive interviewed Tony several times yet hey I m
still a fan. Tony saw me and shook my hand in the winners circle. I
didnt know what to say I just kept saying "nice...nice...nice" Hey I
may have interviewed everyone from ACDC , Dale Earnhardt ,
Julio Iglesias ,Heather Locklear , Mike Piazza,Kurt
Cobain,Quentin Tarentino,Joe Frazier whatever. I still get the fan
out on rare moments........I hope I never lose
that........
